Hologram
Holograms are now the most frequently used anti-counterfeiting technique for brand protection and document security.
Instead of recording a solid object, the holography technique is used to record computerized digital information. A hologram can feature 3D portraits, real scenes, computer images, etc... There are several types of grating image. A grating is an optical micro-structure of pics and valleys, and with a magnitude of half a micron. When light touches the grating, it is diffracted at a specific angle and the light is separated into all the rainbow components.
By changing the spacing and the tilt of the grating, the percepted "colour" of the grating changes as does the direction of reflected light. You can reach visual extra impressive effects with this technology.
The holograms are laid on the cards by using method of hot stamping or in the form of adhesive self-destructive films.
