Plastic cards with magnetic stripe
They are used as contact identification memory medium with the opportunity for saving specific data volume.
The type, placing and proportions of the magnetic stripe are given by the rule ISO 7811.
There are two types of magnetic stripe for encoding: LoCo and HiCo which are chosen according to the used system and they are implemented into a card while manufacturing.
A special reader should be used for reading, eventually for data saving on the magnetic stripe.
