Plastic cards with contactless chip

They are used as contact medium from simple memory card for the identification to multiapplication cards with microprocessor for high application.

For plastic cards with contactless chips there are commonly the chips of producers:

• MIFARE Standard (PHILIPS)
• EM Microeletronic Marine

These cards provide opportunities for secure and reliable medium for storage and access to the information saved in card chip.

It is possible to make so called hybrid card:
This card enables to combine data media on a card in a different way and to take advantage of each media. It is possible to produce the card either with contact or contactless chip.

In the world marketplace there is quite a number of contactless chip which is possible to implement into a plastic card. These chips are produced with different parameters according to the type and application demand.

A special reader should be used for communication with a chip.

The card can be personalized by digital printing, thermoprinting or by embossing.
